Central Athens Elementary
pre-K3 student Lincoln Thompson — the son of AHS Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Cliff Thompson — reads to his friends William Weenink (center) and Mariah Hadnot, as well as a few friends of the teddy bear variety. Athens ISD pre-K students consistently stand out as classroom leaders when they move to higher grade levels. The district does not charge for pre-K.
